Frontline vs Advantage

Compare Frontline Plus Spot-On to Advantage Spot-On

Flea infestations can be particularly hard to eradicate, due to the fast breeding cycle of these parasites. Spot-on topical treatments are one of the most popular and effective ways to kill fleas and provide relief for your pet.

Frontline Plus and Advantage both kill adult fleas before they can lay eggs, helping to break the breeding cycle. Frontline Plus also kills flea eggs and larvae before they can develop.

Frontline Plus kills ticks and lice in dogs and cats, and helps treat sarcoptic mange in dogs. Advantage treats lice in dogs, but does not kill ticks.

Frontline Plus and Advantage topicals are available for both dogs and cats, however it is important that you use the correct product for your animal’s body weight. Frontline Plus for dogs must not be used on cats.

Both products may be used on dogs and cats as young as 8 weeks of age, and are both safe for use on pregnant or nursing dogs and cats.
